Written Submissions for Self-Injury Through Time Theatre Project

Over the past few weeks, the Self Injury Through Time theatre project has been underway and we’ve started to explore how self-injury was viewed in the 16th and 17th centuries and how attitudes towards it have changed.

We are now looking for written contributions towards our Self Injury Through Time performance from people with lived experience of self-injury. We are hoping for the performance, which takes place in July, will be a combination of theatre, visuals, audio, and interactive pieces. We are aiming to use your responses as part of the project, whether they be performed aloud, audio based or used to inspire a script. We are particularly interested in hearing your response to one or more of the prompts below. Your response might be a story, a poem or spoken word piece, a personal experience, a script or even a train of thought. There will also be a space at the bottom if you would like to share any other thoughts.

Sumbit your response here: https://forms.office.com/e/qx5JYaNNyB

Deadline: Sunday 5th May 2024
